  1. Blog familiar places with familiar faces

Things haven’t been ‘normal’ for a while and we haven’t been able to visit our favourite places or share time with our favourite people. Now we’re creating a ‘new normal’ and it’s time to reconnect. Be with those familiar faces, bring them to the places where you’ve visited time and time again or bring them to somewhere new. Either way East Yorkshire is the place to enjoy time together.

Here’s some of our local experts giving us the insight on how to make the most of your time here.

  2. Take time for you in East Yorkshire

This last year has been hard for everyone and everyone has a story to tell of their time in a pandemic, their time in lockdown. From homeschooling, to living alone, caring for those who are vulnerable, having to shield because you are vulnerable, volunteering, and working in those really difficult, high pressure jobs where the whole country has relied on you, those whose businesses have had to adapt and have worked tirelessly everyday to keep going, and those whose jobs just disappeared - it’s fair to say there has been very little reprieve from work and from home. As things begin to reopen again and the world takes on some sort of sense of normal, it’s time for you!

  3. Top Coastal Getaways blog

Nothing says refreshed like a blast of fresh sea air and the glow of the sun on your skin. Whether you want to play games with the family on the sandy beaches of Bridlington, Hornsea or Withernsea, explore the rockpools and caves of Flamborough or wow at the wildlife at Bempton or Spurn point, the East Yorkshire Coast won’t disappoint. But when the sea air has tired you out, and you’re emptying your shoes of sand where do you see yourself laying your head for the night? Here’s some of our top coastal picks to help you out for 2021.
