Situated in the quiet village of Melton, Eastdale Bed and Breakfast is ideally located for anyone visiting Hull and East Yorkshire, whether it be for business or leisure, or perhaps visiting family or friends. We are a very convenient stop off point for anyone cycling the Trans-Pennine Way or following National Cycle Route 65. We have secure storage for cycles. Walkers are very welcome and we often accommodate guests who are walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way.

The Twin Room Velux window overlooks the rear garden and you can also see part of the Yorkshire Wolds.  Our garden attracts many different wild birds and guests are welcome to enjoy the garden at any time, weather permitting!  The Kingsize and Single Rooms overlook the front garden.

Bus stops are just next to and opposite our driveway, so it is easy to get around the area if you are not travelling by car.

There are many interesting places to visit in Hull and East Yorkshire.  Guests are very welcome to tap into our own local knowledge and we will do our best to be helpful and informative.

When travelling on the A63 towards Hull, take the exit for Melton. At the top of the slip road, at the rounadabout, take the first exit left down South Lawn Way. At the next roundabout take the first exit left down Melton Bottom. Eastdale Bed and Breakfast is one of two houses set back before the traffic lights, on the right just after and opposite the bus stops. Look for the low laurel hedge and pull on to the grey gravel driveway. When travelling on the A63 away from Hull, take the exit for Melton and stay in the right hand lane of the slip road. Straight on at the traffic lights and then right at the roundabout. Go over the A63 and at the next roundabout take left exit down South Lawn Way (ignore the first exit which is a slip road on to the roundabout). At the next roundabout take the first exit left down Melton Bottom. Eastdale Bed and Breakfast is one of two houses set back before the traffic lights, on the right just after and opposite the bus stops. Look for the low laurel hedge and pull on to the grey gravel driveway. The nearest train station is North Ferriby. A taxi would be needed as it is a good walk to the bus stop in Ferriby, especially with luggage. The bus service 155 runs through Ferriby to Melton. The bus service from Hull is the 155. We would be happy to find out times for our guests if they wish to enquire at the time of booking.
