About
High Farm Country Park has over 140 acres of Parkland &Woodland with nature trails revealing countless species of wildlife. We have a 9 hole golf course, a two acre fishing lake teeming with carp, tench, roach etc, a play area, a bowling green, a boules rink & a pets corner with alpacas, sheep, pigmy goats, rabbits & guinea pigs. We have swans, moorhens, coots & several varieties of ducks all nesting on our wildlife pond. All of these wonderful attractions & leisure pursuits are included free to our visitors.
For lunch, it could be a short (400m) walk to the Nag’s Head Pub or you may fancy a barbeque down by the lake.
It really is a change in the pace of life, & well worth a visit. The historic market town of Beverley is within five miles, it’s only eight miles to the coast, & less than that to Hull, City of Culture for 2017.
