About

The owners Nigel & Caroline Bradshaw extend a warm Yorkshire welcome to visitors to The Old Forge. Our luxury self-catering accommodation has been sympathetically converted to the highest standards.

With natural stone floors and under floor heating throughout, exposed beamed ceilings and high quality furnishings, the cottage is ideally situated as a base for visiting the Wolds, the Yorkshire Coast, the North Yorkshire Moors and the city of York, all of which are within 20 miles.

The open plan living and dining area features a large solid oak dining table, comfortable leather sofas, and a cosy wood burning stove. The well equipped modern kitchen includes stainless steel range cooker, washer dryer, dishwasher and fridge freezer.

All the bedrooms are furnished in country style with traditional iron bedsteads, pine furniture and luxury bed linen. There is a large modern family bathroom and en-suite shower room to one of the double bedrooms.
