Thompsons Arms

From £360.00
An image of an icon of a double bed

The 3 cottages were once part of a working farm built in the 1840's and they have retained some of the original barn type features, beams and natural timber effects.

The cottages offer modern comforts and a welcoming reception. There is fresh fruit and wine on arrival with our compliments.

Cottage 1 has a ground floor kitchen and living room, lst floor bedroom, with double bed and shower room.
Cottages 2 and Cottage 3 consist of an open plan kitchen, living room, bedroom with double bed, shower room, power shower, wc, and wash-basin.

Local attractions include the city of York (9 miles) Castle Howard (5 miles) North Yorkshire Moors (20 Miles) Malton-Eden Camp (9 miles). The East Coast - Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington (30-40 Miles). The market towns of Easingwold, Thirsk, Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside, Pickering (Steam Railway). Malton and Pocklington (10-20 miles radius). Local pubs including the Thompsons Arms, which hosts folk evenings (Wednesdays). Sandburn Hall golf course.
