Double bed in a bedroom at the Triton Inn, East Yorkshire

About

The Triton Inn forms part of the estate village of Sledmere set in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds...

Surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside, Sledmere is the ideal location for exploring some of the area's best kept secrets; yet less than 20 miles from the rugged Yorkshire Coast and its ever popular seaside attractions at Scarborough and Bridlington, and only 26 miles to the ancient and historic city of York.

Sledmere House, the Stately home to Sir Tatton Sykes, is only a few hundred yards away and is open to the public from Easter to late Autumn; it is a must for visitors to the area. For more information visit www.sledmerehouse.com

Completely refurbished during the winter of 2006, The Triton Inn is boasts up to date facilities within a Victorian setting.
