Catch up with familiar faces in East Yorkshire

Sledmere House in East Yorkshire

East Yorkshire is the perfect place to catch up with friends and family after time apart, with attractions that appeal to all generations. From shopping the independent stores, to letting the kids run wild, to the tranquility of a lavender farm.

This itinerary is recommended to be completed over two days, the first day exploring Yorkshire Wolds attractions Wolds Way Lavender and Sledmere House before rounding off the day with a pub meal. The drive between the attractions will offer beautiful Wolds scenery along quiet country lanes, while both attractions offer quality experiences and both have excellent food and drink available. The second day starts at William's Den, where the kids can really let off some steam and the adults can catch up over a coffee while keeping an eye on the little ones. Before moving on to Flemingate in Beverley for some late afternoon shopping, perhaps an evening meal with a view of Beverley Minster or a chance to wind down at the cinema.
