  2. An image of a couple walking across South Landing.
From town trails to the 79 Yorkshire Wolds Way, from coastal paths to rolling countryside. Discover East Yorkshire with the many walks on offer.
  3. An image of family stopped on their bikes in the countryside.
Whether you want to challenge yourself or just enjoy a gentle ride out along the promenade with your family, there's a cycle route for everyone in East Yorkshire.

Activities

  1. An image of Millington Woods in Autumn.

It could be argued for many reasons that Autumn is the best season, Halloween, Bonfire night and the anticipation of Christmas are a few highlights, but what makes it truly stand out is the transformation of the world around us. As the days draw in, it's the idea of comfort and being cosy that is inviting and on the agenda.

  2. An image of a cyclist resting at a bridge.
The Way of the Roses is Britain's newest 'coast-to-coast' cycle coute. Opened on 11th September 2010, the route runs for 170 well signed miles between Morecambe on Lancashire's Irish Sea coast and Bridlington on Yorkshire's North Sea coast.
  3. An image of a horse race at Beverley racecourse.
A great day out for everyone at Beverley Races. Theme days, attractions and entertainment during the season. A firm favorite when visiting the East Riding of Yorkshire.
