About

The church, with its prominent Perpendicular tower, dominates the centre of this attractive village. The medieval chancel was rebuilt in 1845-6, and the 13th-century nave, north aisle and porch in 1853 by Cuthbert Brodrick, who the year before had designed Leeds Town Hall. There is a Norman font, remnants of medieval monuments and a good Victorian east window by Clayton and Bell, brought here from Langtoft church. Service times: 2nd Sun 0800 Holy Communion (BCP); 3rd Sun 0930 Holy Communion (CW); 4th Sun 1100 All Age Worship.
