The extensive sandy beach overlooks Bridlington Bay, bordered to the north by the stunning Flamborough headland, while to the south the golden sands extend to Spurn Point at the mouth of the River Humber.Bridlington South Beach was given a Quality Coast Bucket and Spade Award for the first time this year.

ER PING - Table Tennis Tables
As part of East Riding of Yorkshire’s Olympic and Paralympic Legacy Programme, two outdoor table tennis tables have been installed on the South Beach promenade and one at Sewerby Hall & Gardens.
Beach Chalet
Chalet hire available on both North and South Beaches.
South Beach chalet locations: Seabird Chalets (paddling pool), Princess Mary Promenade (paddling pool), South Cliff (P&R,dog friendly beach) and Belverdere (quiet,dog friendly beach)
Lifeguard and First Aid
RNLI Lifeguards are on duty on North and South beaches. Be safe and check local notices for information.
Hire a Beach Wheelchair
The "All Terrain Landeez Beach Wheelchair" is available for half days from Foreshore Offices on Bridlington’s South Promenade. This wheelchair enables visitors to enjoy the freedom of the south beach.

Bridlington by car from the south take the A164, A163 and A166 through the Wolds. To Bridlington from the north take the A1, A19, A166 coastal route to Bridlington. From the west take the A514, A166. To Bridlington by rail take the East Coast Line.
