Driffield Golf Club is situated in the Sunderlandwick Estate which is 1 mile south of the town of Driffield. The town as 'Capital of the Yorkshire Wolds' is ideally situated to explore this region where majestic countryside is interspersed with many charming villages. The stunning country houses and gardens at Sledmere and Burton Agnes are nearby, along with the historic town of Beverley and the coastal resorts of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. The city of York is only 30 miles away so there is so much to see and visit in the area.

The Sunderlandwick Estate contains many beautiful trees, shrubs and wildlife. The tranquil Eastburn Beck, which runs through the middle of the course, is a particular feature. The 11th hole is bounded on three sides by water hazards and is said by many visitors to be the finest in East Yorkshire.

The course is predominantly flat and is not physically demanding. The layout of the holes is varied which adds to the interest. The course is maintained in very good condition and has received many glowing reviews - see: www.driffieldgolfclub.co.uk/testimonials

Playing from the men's medal tees the 18 hole card has a par of 70 and a length of 6,205 yards. The ladies' tees have a card showing a par of 72 and a length of 5,591 yards. Although easy to play, all 18 holes demand accuracy to achieve a good score. The course is a true test of golf for both high and low handicap players.

The Club’s Professional, Kenton Wright, runs the golf shop and offers tuition for beginners and players with a golf handicap.

The clubhouse has a pleasant lounge overlooking the 16th and 18th greens. There is a well stocked bar and excellent food. Adam Cooper, who is the Clubhouse Manager, has extensive experience in putting on great functions with excellent service. His catering team can prepare everything from delicious snacks to gourmet meals suitable for parties and wedding breakfasts.

The club is popular for corporate days and society outings. It also hosts regular East Riding and Yorkshire Union events and may be booked for functions, conferences and weddings.

Golf buggies are available for hire. The Clubhouse facilities can be hired for meetings, weddings, parties etc.
