About
Memorial Gardens, once known as Grosvenor Gardens were initially laid out as private square gardens in 1877 for the use of home owners whose properties overlooked the garden. In 2008 the gardens were redesigned, incorporating a new war memorial. At the eastern end of the gardens sit two ornate lions, they once stood outside the entrance to the Criterion Cinema in Hull. Lovely well kept gardens with a water feature. Great place to think and reflect on lost men and women, who gave their lives selflessly in past conflicts. Nice to walk through on way to town and plenty of benches.Disabled Access. Children welcome. Dogs not accepted except Guide Dogs.
