About
The University of Hull Art Collection features British art, paintings, drawings and sculpture 1890-1940, including works by Sickert, Steer, Lucien Pissarro, Augustus John, Stanley Spencer, Epstein and Moore. Camden Town and Bloomsbury artists are particularly featured.The galleries also contain the Thompson Collections of Chinese Ceramics: The Transitional Period (c.1620-1680) and The Tang to the Xing (c.618-1850 AD).
In additional there are regular loan exhibitions and lecture programmes, and a Friends organisation.
