About

Withernsea beach has maintained its Blue Flag status. To earn a Blue Flag, beaches must meet all the strict criteria across a range of measurements, such as water quality, beach cleanliness and information on safety and well-managed facilities.

The traditional holiday resort of Withernsea sports a recently redesigned and attractively rebuilt promenade. The famous lighthouse towers some 127 feet above the resort and is the home of the Lighthouse Museum with it's tribute to the actress Kay Kendal.
