Discover, or rediscover, what’s right here on your doorstep and take a look at Visit East Yorkshire
Many of us have discovered a new-found love and appreciation for getting out in the fresh air and taking a walk, but have you explored all the trails that are on offer in East Yorkshire?
With Winter underway, many of us are enjoying long walks in the countryside, listening for migrating birds on their annual travels, or looking out for passing dolphins off the rocky headlands.
Or there’s nothing more special than afternoon tea, with a story to tell and fantastic, fresh, home cooked food. East Yorkshire is a hive of local produce, and many of the eateries in the area make excellent use of this in their interesting, delicious and takeaway menus.
Know before you go! Please check business information before visiting to avoid disappointment.
Some East Yorkshire accommodation, food and drink establishments, attractions, gardens and other outdoor spaces have re-opened with social distancing guidelines in place, whilst some attractions have taken the decision to postpone performances and events or to continue to temporarily close their doors in light of the current situation.
Whilst we are endeavouring to keep all information on the website up to date, we would advise you to check directly with the relevant venue for the most up to date information.

Advice from the NHS on protecting yourself from COVID-19
COVID-19 hasn’t gone away and people need to remain vigilant in order to help prevent the spread of the virus.
By socially distancing ourselves, wearing face coverings where required (unless exempt) and maintaining good hand and respiratory hygiene - such as handwashing and covering our mouths when we sneeze or cough - together we can help keep the virus rates as low as possible.
