Beverley 1300 - From Agincourt to Beverley and back

Type:Talk

Beverley 1300 poster featuring the stone rabbit from St Mary's Church and Henry V

About

In her talk, Anne Curry retraces the steps of medieval England’s most well-known and admired king from his audacious victory at Agincourt to Beverley and back.

A former President of the Historical Association and chair of the Agincourt 600, Professor Curry is a leading expert on Henry V. Her books include the volume on Henry V (subtitled ‘Playboy Price to Warrior King’) in the acclaimed Penguin Monarch series. We are thrilled to welcome this distinguished historian to Beverley in the 600th anniversary year of Henry’s visit to the town.
