Enchanted Winter Woodland

About

A brand new event is coming to Sewerby Hall and Gardens this year: Enchanted Winter Woodland will take you on a magical outdoor journey of spectacular sounds and lights.

Discover that The Snow Queen has cast a spell on the beautiful woodland, which has come alive with light and sounds. Joining the Sewerby polar explorer on his expedition, travel through an illuminated tunnel into the winter woods, and embark on their quest into the Snow Queen's domain.

As you journey deeper into the enchanted woodland, take the opportunity to make some winter magic of your own. Take part in activities such as wand making with Moonlight, the enchanted moth; learning spells; and even meeting the Snow Queen herself, before enjoying the grand finale of a superb lighting display set to music!

The house itself will be filled with Christmas decorations and trees, and the lighting in the house will add a magical feel.

Sample a marquee bar, including specially created cocktails, as well as soft drinks, and browse carefully selected festive Craft stalls.

The Enchanted Winter Woodland will run from Saturday, 12 December to Wednesday, 23 December. Tickets MUST be booked online in advance - tickets will not be available at the gates.

Entry will be at timed sessions each day - the first will be at 4.15pm. Each timed session will consist of small groups, to ensure social distancing.

Early Bird tickets are available until 31 October, and will cost £10 for adults, and £6 for children, with a family ticket (two adults and two children) costing £25. There will be no discounted or concessionary tickets.

This event is not included on the Sewerby Hall annual pass, Great Houses passes or HHA passes.

There will also be relaxed performances on Friday, 11 December at 4.30 - 4.45pm. These will feature music at reduced volume, no lazer lights and no snow machine.

In the unfortunate event that the event should have to be cancelled, Sewerby Hall and Gardens will offer refunds of the full ticket value.
