Elaine works with paper and stitch to create collaged landscapes and whimsical still life scenes. She uses a wide range of techniques to treat and mark the antique papers before assembling and machine stitching. She will demonstrate these techniques before moving on to some warm-up exercises. Participants can then produce their artwork on the theme of their perfect place, whether that be on a hill top, in the garden or on the settee! Plenty of one-to-one teaching and all materials provided. *Please bring a sewing machine. Numbers limited to 8

screened so please say your name followed by “FESTIVAL”.
2. As long as there are still places available, you will receive a booking form with
details of how to pay etc. Otherwise you will go on the reserve list.
3. You can pay by bank transfer or by cheque. Please note that cheques should be
made payable to Hornsea Art Society Festival Account Hornsea Art Society Festival Account. Your place can only be Hornsea Art Society Festival Account
guaranteed once payment has been received. Refunds can only be offered if a
replacement can be found on the reserve list and in any case not within 3 weeks of
the event.
4. You will receive an email confirming your place and receipt of your payment
along with directions to the venue and a list of things to bring with you.
