Rob will lead participants in exploring some practical methods to achieve small experimental works that lead to a more complete abstract or abstracted work by the end of the session. Participants will go away with two or three small works that adopt differing approaches and strategies towards making abstract images. Rob envisages the use of various media to underpin and inspire the activities. The session will Painting The Everyday In Watercolour Award-winning artist, member of the Society of Women artists and Society of Graphic Fine Arts, Elizabeth has been a professional artist for 15 years. Beginning with a short talk about watercolour and a demonstration of her techniques, participants will use a reference photograph of their choice, firstly drawing a grid reference in which to create a detailed under-drawing and then painting over to create an original painting. Elizabeth will provide one-toone help throughout the day, basic materials and watercolour boards. Numbers limited to 15. Elizabeth Nast Saturday 24th September Catholic Church Hall, Hornsea 10am - 3pm £45 include a look at Rob’s own exploratory and preliminary work that precedes development into his more substantial gallery paintings. guaranteed once payment has been received. Refunds can only be offered if a
replacement can be found on the reserve list and in any case not within 3 weeks of
the event.
