MALTON'S BOUTIQUE MUSIC FESTIVALSet beside the River Derwent in the beautiful meadows and gardens on the edge of Malton, MEADOWFEST brings you a summer music festival of uplifting sunshine bands, all day feasting and dancing under the stars!
Sit back, relax and enjoy an eclectic mix of ska, reggae, funk, blues & much more. Featuring some of Yorkshire's finest bands and special guests, get ready for a family festival of top music, sizzling street food, all set in the most stunning of settings.
Brought to you by Visit Malton CIC, the team behind the award winning Malton Food Lovers Festival, MEADOWFEST aims to be one of the UK's best boutique music festivals.
With epic, uplifting music whatever the genre, ska, funk or bluegrass, if it's inspiring, joyous and gets you dancing, MEADOWFEST will feature it!
And the same applies to our food and drink. There'll be some of Yorkshire best street food vans including vegan and veggie options too. We want this family festival to be the unmissable musical and foodie event of the summer

How to get to us
Just put in Malton's postcode YO17 7LX and get going! The main access to Malton is along the A64 from York or Scarborough and from the A169 from Pickering.
You can park for 2 hours free of charge in the central Market Place, Chancery Lane, Shambles Car Park, Wells Lane and Navigation Wharf. (Some restrictions apply on market days and during festivals).
BY TRAIN:
There's a direct train service to Malton on the Scarborough – York – Leeds – Manchester line.
For travellers from further afield the best connections are made via York. Malton’s railway line is currently serviced by TransPennine Express and Northern.
BY BUS:
There are bus services to Malton from York, Scarborough, Leeds, Pickering and Helmsley. The Coastliner timetables can be downloaded here. Both the bus and railway stations are just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre.
There is also a direct link between York and Malton via the "Friends of Moorbus and Moorsbus CIC" on a Friday and Saturday during the summer season.
BY AIR:
The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International (LBA), which is 60 minutes by car.

The main access to Malton from the South is along the A64 from York. From the North, the A169 from Pickering and the A64 from Scarborough are both main routes.
Accessible by Public Transport: Malton station is 0.3 miles away.
