About
The Guildhall's new 'Pop-up Memory Museum' uses audio-visual presentations to stimulate people's memories of Beverley. 'Memories of Hodgson's Tannery' is a specially-created video that uses oral histories, images and video clips to present the story of the tannery on Flemingate, which was one of Beverley's biggest employers during much of the 20th century. The 25 minute video runs on a loop throughout the day, so there is no need to book.
The Guildhall is open from 10am to 4pm every Friday, from 10am to 1pm on Wednesdays until 30 April, and 10am to 4pm on Wednesdays from 1 May onwards. Admission is free.
