Piano Day at Howden Minster, Howden, East Yorkshire

About

Join us in Howden Minster on Saturday 9 October 2021 for a free day of concerts organised by Howdenshire Music Project to celebrate our magnificent new FEURICH 218 grand piano.

We are delighted to welcome eminent musicians from across the UK and beyond, including pianists Kanako Mizuno and Kasparas Mikužis, and violinist Harry Kneeshaw. Come along and enjoy a glorious selection of music ranging from Schubert, Liszt, Chopin, Beethoven and Elgar to a highly-anticipated Yorkshire-themed world premiere by acclaimed composer Sadie Harrison.

We'd love to see you there for some or all of the day!

Advance booking is strongly recommended. Seating at each concert will be socially distanced for the safety of audience members.

A selection of delicious lunches will be available to purchase and enjoy in the Minster, along with tea, coffee and soft drinks, courtesy of Howden's own That Tea Room from 12 noon to 1.30pm

We also have a YouTube channel for you to enjoy. Search on YouTube for "Howdenshire Music Project"
