About

Yorkshire Puffin Festival (29th - 31st May)

Come and experience life on the very edge of Yorkshire, virtually!

Yorkshire's Flamborough Headland is one of the best places in the country to see puffins from land – as well as thousands of other seabirds.

Experience the sights and sounds of our ‘seabird city’ remotely through a fun-filled programme of online events for all the family.  Join our experts to plan your seabird spotting adventure and discover how protecting puffins starts at home!

Our puffin-packed virtual programme includes:
-A special launch event with naturalist, broadcaster and award winning Springwatch producer Stephen Moss.

-A glimpse behind the scenes of BBC's Spy in the Wild as pioneering wildlife filmmaker Rob Pilley introduces one of the stars of the television series, ‘Spy Puffin’.

-An online breakfast club for young puffin fans with our mascot Cliff. Get ready to start your day with challenges, crafts and stories and more! Each evening get comfy, cosy up and listen to our specially written puffin bedtime stories.

-Why not test your puffin know-how with our fact-filled quiz for all the family. Will you get full marks or be wowed by new puffin facts and trivia?!

-We’ve also created a bundle of guides, fact sheets and family friendly itineraries, written by our wildlife experts to help you plan your next action-packed trip to Flamborough Cliffs nature reserve!
