Our people

Behind every lobster pot is a person.

Bridlington Bay brings together fishermen, merchants, processors, fishmongers and retailers, all connected by the same stretch of the East Yorkshire coast.

Many of the boats working these waters today come from families who have fished along the East Yorkshire coast for generations. Knowledge of tides, seabed, weather and seasons is passed down, refined and respected. It’s this experience that underpins the quality and reputation of Bridlington Bay lobster and shellfish.

But our community extends far beyond the boats. It includes the businesses on the quayside, the people inspecting and preparing the catch, and the customers who choose to support local seafood.

When you buy Bridlington Bay Seafood, you’re not just choosing exceptional produce, you’re supporting a network of skilled, independent coastal businesses committed to doing things properly.

Meet the people who make it happen.
