If you're looking for a family-friendly Halloween, there are plenty of events and activities to keep the kids entertained.

Have fun picking your own pumpkin before getting creative with your carving skills. There are plenty of pumpkin picking sites across East Yorkshire, including Butt Farm, Williams Den and The Pumpkin Patch at Bewholme. 

Intrepid explorers can venture over to Burton Agnes Hall and take part in the fantastically spooky woodland trail! Join an eerie hunt round the hall’s atmospheric woodland with a series of clues to help guide the way. Just beware of the witches, spiders and ghostly figures!

Put on your Halloween costume and head to the remote Bempton Cliffs for a torchlit nature trail, stopping off for stories around the fire pit and marshmallow toasting.
