Explore Drewton’s Pumpkin Patch and pumpkin carving area before grabbing some refreshments from the Pumpkin Shack (you have to try their famous pumpkin soup)! You'll discover lots of great photo opportunities, including specially designed backdrops and cut-outs to get that perfect snap for Instagram.

Butt Farm, near Beverley

Grab your wheelbarrow and have fun choosing from Butt Farm's huge choice of pumpkins. Once you've found your perfect match, enjoy some drinks and snacks and pose for some cute and cosy autumnal photos. Face painters are on hand too to transform your little pumpkin pickers into scary monsters!

Entry to the patch with a charitable donation of your choice to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

If you’d like to get your dog involved, you’ll be excited to know that separate ‘dogs only’ sessions are available too! With dog agility, apple bobbing and a pop up shop from local dog boutique, Oh My Dog, your furry friend is set to have the best howl-o-ween ever! 

£5 per dog ticket which is redeemable against your pumpkin purchases.

Scalby Grange, Gilberdyke

Open every day from 4 to 31 October, Scalby Grange is a great spot to pick up your pumpkins. On Thursday and Friday evenings, they’re open until 8pm for twilight pickings which sounds like the perfect, atmospheric way to pick up your Halloween haul to us! There’s also face painting every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and animal petting every Saturday and Sunday.

Tickton Farm, Beverley

From the small and quirky to the huge and knarly, you’ll find every type and size of pumpkin on this picturesque working farm. Some pumpkins are on the vine so bring your cutters and enjoy the experience of cutting your own fresh pumpkin. Refreshments are available and a cosy tipi provides the perfect place to warm up.

Over 40 different pumpkin varieties can be found at The Pumpkin Patch at Bewholme, but that’s not all! Delicious food and drink, Halloween games, a treasure hunt, face painting, pygmy goats and plenty of photo opportunities are all part of the Halloween fun. The pumpkin house provides the perfect spot for those Instagrammable moments!

Sandy Bottom Farm, Hedon

Each year, Sandy Bottom Farm grows more than 75,000 pumpkins, squashes and gourds just ready to be picked and enjoyed by families across East Yorkshire - that’s a lot of Halloween fun! As well as pumpkins which are obviously the star of the show, there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained, with a maize maze, craft tent with pumpkin painting, a creepy crawly bug house, pumpkin house and food and drink vendors.

Enter through the huge pumpkin arch and head to the fields to take your pick of some incredible pumpkins!

Pumpkin secured, it’s time to check out the farm shop and make a stop off at the on-site café for a brew and a warm sausage roll. Autumn days done right!
