If you want to eat beside the sea, visit Lighthouse Fisheries, Flamborough is the winner of UK best newcomer in the National Fish and Chips Awards 2023 and features vegan friendly takeaway options to enjoy in the fresh air.
Another lovely spot on the coast for an easy going lunch is Bemora Fusion Café in Hornsea with an ethos that is rooted in the culture of the East and meals made fresh in-house with a no-nonsense approach, supporting a variety of dietary needs including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian, they offer just simple wholesome products which nourish you from the inside out.
Burgers or Bento in Beverley?
You’re in for a treat at the Atom Bar in Beverley, they have teamed up with Junk Soul Smothered to create food that is a much of a work of art as it is tasty. For a great night out try The Vegan Vampire burger, plant-based BBQ Stack or smothered Sloppy Joe in a vegan brioche, they will go down a treat with an award winning, locally brewed, vegan friendly, Atom beer or two.
Soju by Sumo in Beverley, owner by Gary Chin, winner of the BBC Two’s Britain’s Best Takeaway 2022, has a fantastic taste bud tantalising choice of authentic pan Asian rich flavours and textures, from Teriyaki Aubergine or Shiitake Bibimbap to sushi, or try a Bento Box filled with vegan and vegetarian options.
