Join the team at Yorkshire Wildlife Trust for a Spurn Safari to learn of the interesting spit of land that lays out into the sea and its cohabitants or join the bird experts at RSPB Bempton Cliffs to hear all about the hundreds of thousands of birds that nest on the cliffs during the year, from puffins to gannets, guillemots and kittiwakes. You can even take a tour of Bempton Cliffs from a different view point on board the Yorkshire Belle, where an expert tour guide can help point out the many sea birds.

Heritage Open Days in Bridlington and Beverley also take place annually in September and offer the chance for tours of establishments not always open to the public, giving you the chance to discover hidden gems in the region.
