If you’ve ever visited Drewton’s Farm Shop, you’ll know that it’s a great place to pick up local produce. Their shelves and counters overflow with local food and drink, from breads and cakes to meats and wines, So where better to pick up some festive treats from East Yorkshire businesses this Christmas? Shop from over 30 local food producers and craftspeople who will be showcasing their wares in The Manor Rooms over this full weekend of festive shopping!

Entry is free but you do need to register your attendance.

Kick off the festive season at Burton Constable Hall’s Christmas Craft Fair! The historic Riding School will be transformed into a winter wonderland of creativity, featuring stalls brimming with handmade gifts, festive decorations, artisan sweets, jewellery, and cosy winter wear. With just £1 entry per family, free parking, and a dog-friendly atmosphere, it’s the perfect pre-Christmas outing to find unique treasures.

Wednesday ​26 and Thursday 27 November 2025, 9.30am to 4pm

Get ahead for the Christmas season at the Sledmere Christmas Fair. The magnificent stately home provides the perfect setting for picking up some festive food, drink and gifts. Meet local producers and makers, listen to talks and enjoy watching demonstrations from talented creators to help you create your most perfect Christmas at home.

There is an admission charge of £6.25 per person but this gives you access to the parkland, walled garden, adventure play area and rare breed farm, as well as the Christmas fair.

Step into a magical winter wonderland at the Cave Castle Christmas Market, set against the atmospheric backdrop of the castle’s twinkling lights and woodland charm. Browse a mix of independent artisan stalls, savour festive food and mulled drinks, and enjoy family-friendly activities.

Bring the whole family to meet Santa (grotto tickets £14 per child), soak in the festive lights, grab unique gifts, and collect raffle tickets for your chance to win some luxurious prizes, like spa getaways, hotel stays, and dinner for two.

Christmas comes to Cottingham!

Cottingham is a small village with a huge Christmas spirit. Each year, around 80 stalls take over the streets of this normally peaceful village in a Christmas extravaganza! With everything from handmade decorations to sweet treats and mouth-watering street food on offer, you’re guaranteed to pick up some unique Christmas finds.

There’s also children’s rides, and lots of festive entertainment!

Bridlington's Old Town
Sunday 30 November 2025, 4pm to 8pm

Step into Bridlington’s historic Old Town on Sunday 30 November 2025, for the enchanting Ye Olde Town Yuletide Fayre & Lantern Walk! The High Street will close to traffic from 11 am to 6 pm, transforming into a festive wonderland with stalls offering gifts, seasonal treats, street performances, and a warm community atmosphere.

As day turns to dusk, join the spectacular Lantern Walk, a glowing parade of handmade lanterns crafted in local workshops, winding its way to Bridlington Priory and back during the late afternoon. Don’t miss the Advent Fair inside the Priory, adding an extra layer of festive cheer with crafts and treats.

Step into the festive season with Howden Christmas Market. The town’s historic Shire Hall will be filled with all things Christmas.

Why not visit some of the town’s amazing independent shops and enjoy some Christmas cheer in Howden’s restaurants and bars. And of course, there will be the opportunity to visit Father Christmas in his grotto!

Celebrate the magic of the season at Beverley Golf Club’s Christmas Market, held in a beautifully decorated marquee at The Clubhouse. Across two days, visitors can wander through more than forty stalls brimming with unique gifts, handmade crafts, and festive treats. The atmosphere will be magical, with real reindeer adding a touch of wonder, carols sung around the tree, and the sparkle of a special light switch-on by a local legend. Families will love the fairground rides and the chance to meet Father Christmas himself (Santa tickets £20 per child). Warm up with hot chocolate and seasonal snacks while soaking in the Christmas cheer. Market entry is just £2 for adults and £1 for children, making this a perfect weekend outing to shop, celebrate, and create unforgettable festive memories.

Beverley town centre
Sunday 14 December 2025, 10am to 4pm

The Beverley Festival of Christmas is one of the UK’s biggest single day Christmas markets and people come from across to the country to experience it.

Each year, on the second Sunday in December, the centre of Beverley is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s wonderland, as over 110 stalls brimming with gorgeous Christmas gifts and local treats take over the historic market town. From handmade toys and chocolates to wreaths and freshly roasted chestnuts, the atmosphere is full of festive cheer.

If you love to shop local, head to North Bar Within where there will be a dedicated area to showcase the best of East Yorkshire producers.

Aside from the amazing selection of stalls, there will be a Santa parade, Victorian fairground rides, face painting, birds of prey and live entertainment to keep the whole family entertained. Prepare to soak up the sights, smells and sounds of the festive season!

This is one of Yorkshire’s best Christmas markets and one you won’t want to miss.

Pocklington Marketplace
Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 December 2025, 10am to 6pm

The Pocklington Christmas Market takes place over two days in the middle of December, offering plenty of opportunity to do some last minute Christmas shopping. Shop from 70 stalls which will line the streets of the pretty market town of Pocklington. Expect a great mixture of food, drink and gifts as well as live entertainment and an Apres Ski Bar.

Pocklington has some great independent shops too so be sure to take a stroll around the town too.
