The Trans Pennine Trail is a traffic-free route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders linking the North and Irish Seas. From coast-to-coast, it’s 215 miles (346km) long and runs from Southport on the West coast all the way to Hornsea.

The start (or finish) of the trail can be found near Hornsea’s promenade and part of the trail most popular with families runs from Hornsea to the bustling city of Hull.
