About Bessingby Mews Holiday Cottages

Nestled in a peaceful village setting, Bessingby Mews Holiday Cottages is perfect spot for a romantic break. You’re just minutes away from Bridlington’s golden sandy beaches and its characterful Old Town with its historic buildings, independent shops and charming tearooms, yet equally close to the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds.

When it comes to cosy hideaways for two, Cupid’s Cottage couldn’t be a more fitting choice! This ground-floor retreat is compact, comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. It has an open‑plan living space with a handy kitchenette, dining area and comfy seating, which are just right for slow mornings and relaxed evenings together. There’s also a double bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and over‑bath shower. One large dog or two small dogs are welcome too, so your four‑legged friend can join the adventure if you'd like as well.

The accommodation includes a car parking space and a charging point if you drive an electric car.

  • Visit East Yorkshire will contact the winner by email. The winner will then have 48 hours to get in touch with details required and confirmation they are claiming the prize. If we do not hear from the winner after 48 hours, another winner will be selected at random.
  • One lucky winner will win a couple’s break to East Yorkshire for two adults and will receive a 3 night stay at Cupid’s Cottage at Bessingby Mews Holiday Cottages, a bottle of wine from Laurel Vines and an afternoon tea for two people at The Georgian Tea Rooms in Bridlington.
  • The 3 night stay at Cupid’s Cottage at Bessingby Mews Holiday Cottages is for check in on Friday 13 February and check out on Monday 16 February 2026. The accommodation is self-catered.
  • The prize cannot be exchanged, refunded or passed onto a third party.
  • The winner must have their own transport to travel to East Yorkshire.
  • The winner must pass on their name and contact details to Visit East Yorkshire, in order for Visit East Yorkshire to pass on the details to Bessingby Mews Holiday Cottages.
  • No cash alternative is available.
