To celebrate National Tea Day this April, we are giving away an afternoon tea for two at Laurel Vines Vineyard, East Yorkshire.

The lucky winner must use their prize by the end of September 2025. Afternoon teas are served every Friday afternoon.
What’s included
- A range of freshly prepared finger sandwiches
- Savoury pastries and quiche slices
- Delicious cakes and sweet treats
- Homemade fruit or plain scones served with Cornish clotted cream, jams & butter
- A pot of tea or mug of coffee
You can also opt to add a glass of sparkling wine for £7.50 per person. During your visit, the vineyard will also be open for you to explore at your leisure.
About Laurel Vines Vineyard
You’ll find Laurel Vines Vineyard and Winery in the picturesque East Yorkshire countryside, in the small hamlet of Aike.
The award-winning, family-owned vineyard is dedicated to producing high-quality, handcrafted wines, with a focus on sustainability and local production. Some of their notable varieties include sparkling wines, white wines, and classic English reds, made from carefully selected grape varieties that thrive in the East Yorkshire’s conditions. The combination of the unique soil and climate gives the wines a distinct character that reflects the taste of East Yorkshire.
As well as the exceptional wines, Laurel Vines Vineyard offers visitors a warm welcome and guests can sample the wines and learn about the winemaking process. Their knowledgeable and friendly staff are always on hand to guide visitors through the wine selection, sharing insights into the vineyard's history and the techniques used to create each bottle.
Laurel Vines also hosts various events throughout the year, such as wine tasting sessions, vineyard picnics and they often partner up with nearby Dumble Farm to offer a combination of vineyard tours and highland cow safaris!

Competition terms and conditions
Please ensure you have read and understood all of the terms and conditions before entering.
- The competition closes at 23:59 on Thursday 17th April with the winner announced by Wednesday 23rd April
- Visit East Yorkshire will notify the winner via email. The winner must accept their prize within 48 hours of being contacted, otherwise Visit East Yorkshire will allocate the prize to another winner.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged, refunded or passed onto a third party.
- No cash alternative is available.
- The winner must book in advance with Laurel Vines Vineyard and your booking is subject to availability.
- Afternoon teas are available every Friday afternoon until the end of September and the winner must have used their prize by this time.
- The winner must have their own transport to travel to Laurel Vines Vineyard.
- The winner must pass on their name and contact details to Visit East Yorkshire, in order for Visit East Yorkshire to pass on the details to Laurel Vines Vineyard
- The winner will be selected at random from valid entries
- Entrants must be 18+.
