When you think of Bridlington, you immediately think of sand, sea and amusements. But what else is there to do? There’s plenty to entertain the kids at this much-loved seaside resort. Here are some great activities they’re sure to love!

Sewerby Hall and Garden

This historic house is set in 50 acres of award-winning gardens and woodland. There’s a zoo with penguins, parrots and a whole host of other animals waiting to greet you, as well as the Clock Tower Cafe where you can enjoy lunch and a slice of cake (or two!). You can tour the Grade I listed house and relive history with interactive displays. Kids can even visit the nursery and play with a collection of Edwardian toys!

Bondville Model Village 

Described as a ‘miniature masterpiece’, Bondville Model Village features over 200 hand-crafted buildings including a castle, ruined abbey and a harbour. This tiny, magical village even has a Thomas the Tank Engine train that travels around the village!

Treasure Island Mini Golf

No trip to the seaside is complete without a game of crazy golf, and Treasure Island Mini Golf will not disappoint! This pirate-themed course has lots of fun, nautical features and once you’ve finished golfing, you can even join its ghost walk for some spooky fun...

John Bull World of Rock 

Kids will love visiting this traditional sweet factory, where they can see chocolate and rock sweets being made! During your tour, you can make your own chocolate lolly pop and personalise your own stick of rock, whilst discovering the history of this famous sweet maker. 

East Riding Leisure Centre Bridlington

East Riding Leisure Centre Bridlington has lots to entertain the kids. Its Splash Zone is a firm favourite with children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. It has two state-of-the-art waterslides where you can time your descent and interactive water play for the little ones. A big bucket periodically splashes water over the heated pool. Once the water fun is over, you can hit the Clip and Climb, which features 8 fun climbing walls. 
There’s a great cafe where you can refuel overlooking the sea, too!

Bridlington Animal Park 

This award-winning animal park is home to hawks, falcons, owls, donkeys, wallabies, meerkats and more! The children will love the daily bird flying demonstrations, feeds and displays. You can even pay for a Park Keeper Experience, where you can go into the enclosures and come face-to-face with the animals!
